Born and raised in Orange County, I attended California State University, Fullerton where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management. Always drawn to HR as a career, it was my passion for helping people be successful in their careers that led me into the world of recruitment.

After graduation, I landed my first job as a recruiter at a small private marketing firm where I learned that I was more interested in the “behind the scenes” of recruiting and developed hands-on expertise in process improvement, reporting, technology, and more. Seven years later I joined Fortune 500 companies Black & Decker, Stanley Black & Decker and Spectrum Brands, where I built and managed a Talent Acquisition function. Through this great adventure I gained exposure to the full spectrum of HR, as well as expertise in mergers and acquisitions and change management.

Now at Bright Talent, I have the opportunity to leverage my expertise to improve HR operations for a broad range of companies and enjoy the hands-on business of working side-by-side with our clients. Whether I am assisting with the implementation of a game-changing HRIS, developing a fantastic new HR Intranet site, or recommending improvements to a Talent Acquisition function, I love helping our clients solve real challenges.

Outside of work, I treasure all the moments that I have with my wonderful husband, our two boys, and two beautiful Australian Shepherds. When I’m not working out, you can usually find me on the sidelines of a soccer field, cheering on my guys, taking photos and capturing those special moments.
