As both an analytical and creative thinker, I love being able to leverage both skillsets to dive into solving complex problems and maximize efficiency.

I grew up in a small town in central Virginia and attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Human Resources and Development.

I began my professional career in Nashville, Tennessee where I obtained real-world, entry-level Human Resources experience at a multifaceted Fortune 500 company. My next role involved managing Human Resources responsibilities for the launch and day-to-day operations with a large startup in the hospitality industry, which allowed me to quickly gain an in-depth knowledge of the many aspects of Human Resources. I then shifted gears to a public sector HR role serving my local school system, where I gained valuable experience and specialized in employee leave, total rewards, and licensure/certification while simultaneously furthering my exposure to general HR practices. This is when I discovered my passion for leveraging technology to make daily HR operations easier for myself and others utilizing data, analytics, system and process improvement.

Now in my role supporting the Bright Talent leadership team, I have the privilege of working alongside – and learning from – top industry experts in the HR consulting arena. I wear many hats, and each day offers exciting new opportunities for personal and professional growth. As both an analytical and creative thinker, I love being able to leverage both skillsets to solve complex problems and maximize efficiency.

In my free time, I enjoy exercising my creative abilities to conduct home improvements, digital design and hands-on art projects. On the weekends, you can catch me traveling somewhere new, attending concerts, or spending time with my friends and family.
