Orora Client Success Story: Supporting HR Transformation Inside a Global Packaging Company

 

Orora Packaging Solutions is a leading custom packaging and supply chain optimization company, operating in seven countries with over 6,800 team members. As with most established organizations, Orora’s HR function was operating smoothly in some areas, but had opportunities to add more value and become more strategic in others.

Orora’s Vice President of Human Resources identified talent acquisition as a key priority among her managers. Recognizing the urgency of their needs, the VP engaged Bright Talent to fill active openings. BrightTalent was ready with an immediate solution, and introduced a remote contract recruiter to support the project and fill the positions.

After the success of these early hires the VP of HR envisioned an internal Talent Acquisition department to service the business. Bright Talent responded with a Talent Acquisition Consultant to provide strategy, planning, and oversight, as well as three additional contract recruiters. With performance data, Bright Talent was able to show proof of concept and clearly demonstrate the value of a talent acquisition function. With this mandate, Orora went on to hire a Talent Acquisition Leader while Bright Talent contract recruiters remained as resources to flex with the ebb and flow of recruiting demands.

Bright Talent also assisted Orora with compensation analysis and strategy. In partnership with the VP of HR, our Subject Matter Expert provided support to meet the seasonal and strategic needs of the project. Additionally, Orora invested in new systems to improve HR operations and Bright Talent provided a project manager to support the internal project team and act as liaison with systems vendors.   After a complex implementation, Orora successfully launched two new systems that streamlined operations.
